Job Description

We are looking to hire an appliance repair technician who will service customers’ Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Cove appliances around San Diego County. We would prefer a seasoned appliance service technician, especially those that have worked on Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Cove appliances in the past. We ask that you have experience in some form of maintenance & repair, electrical wiring and troubleshooting, HVAC, or other mechanical, problem-solving discipline.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Servicing and repairing Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Cove appliances including refrigerators, washers, gas ranges, and more.
  • Using diagnostic tools to accurately determine repair plans.
    Educating customers about their appliances, how to best use them, and how to maintain them.
  • Driving to customers’ homes in the company-provided vehicle around the San Diego metro area with the parts necessary to complete the job.
  • Maintaining the highest level of professionalism and excellent customer relations with each service call.

Qualifications and Skills

Candidates Must:

  • Have relevant experience, including any maintenance & repair, electrical wiring & troubleshooting, HVAC or other mechanical trade or discipline. Prior experience with Sub-Zero, Wolf and Cove appliances is a plus
  • Possess a great attitude and professional appearance
  • Enjoy the customer service side of the job to earn the trust and goodwill of sophisticated clientele
  • Have a strong work ethic and be driven to deliver exceptional service experiences
  • We have hundreds of 5-star reviews across all platforms online and need technicians that possess excellent customer service skills; our current techs are proud of the fine work they do
  • Be tech-savvy, as more and more of our work involves computers
  • Be detail-oriented, following specific process steps to ensure quality workmanship and typing up accurate service notes
  • Be a self-starter who is always willing to become an even better technician to better service our Sub-Zero, Wolf and Cove customers.
  • Be able to lift 60 lbs, push 100 lbs, and pull 50 lbs
  • While we prefer a seasoned appliance service technician, we will train otherwise great candidates for the job
  • Have a valid drivers license

Compensation and Benefits

* To qualify for our highest starting salary of $40 / hr, candidates must have: (1) a minimum of 7-10 years’ experience as an appliance repair technician; (2) the ability to use industry diagnostic and repair equipment; (3) knowledge of sealed system repair; (4) knowledge of refrigeration, electrical, and gas appliance fundamentals; (5) EPA certification; and (6) strong Customer Service experience. With this level of expertise, we expect the technician to be out on their own within two months.
